Mr. Amann contacted Armour with a desire to add one stall to his barn. Lumber posts were added to the existing concrete floor with post holders purchased from his local hardware store. Aluminum Receiver Channel by Armour was fastened to the inside of the stall posts and lumber was loaded horizontally into the channel to construct the stall walls. The measurement from inside to inside of the posts across the front measured 115-1/2″ and Armour fabricated the stall grill to his specifications. The front grill features a Feeder Access Door which opens 24″ wide and 48″ high, enough to fit the horse head through, feed bucket or hay slice. The Sliding Stall Door, SDSO is a standard 96″ tall door with straight bars that have a 3″ between bar spacing. Mr. Amann loaded his own lumber into the bottom of the stall door to match the lumber across the front of the stall. A pressure treated board has been installed along the bottom perimeter of the stall to prevent the wood from deteriorating faster.
