Armour Gates offers a Single Swing Tongue & Groove Shutter manufactured with the best #1 grade lumber on the market. This T&G panel swings open to one side of any barn window opening of adequate size. One panel design allows for easy open and close with the slide of one bolt latch. Shutters are shipped complete with two 6" Stainless Steel T-hinges, and one zinc plated Super latch with latch receiver plates. Each shutter arrives fully assembled with lumber. Painting or staining door lumber portion is recommended. The T&G lumber is surrounded by heavy gauge, non rusting, aluminum channels and miter cut corners. Shutters arrive with unmarred lumber fascias because all wood glue and counter sunk wood placements take place in the rear of the panel. The smooth interior surface panels provide an "edge free" surface. Custom sizes are available.
When ordering shutters, you have the option of having the T&G pattern on only one side of the shutter, Armour standard shutters show the pattern only when the shutter is in the closed position, if you wish to show the pattern only when the shutter is in the open position please specify by ordering "Reverse Fascia." We offer this option at no additional cost, as a courtesy and only upon request.
