The Single Smooth Hinged Shutter arrives as an assembled lumber panel framed in aluminum channeling. Custom sizes are available upon request. This hinged shutter swings open to one side of any barn window opening of adequate size. One panel design allows for easy open and close with the swing of the wrist. Shutters are shipped complete with two 6" Stainless Steel T-hinges, and one zinc plated Super latch with latch receiver plates. Painting or staining lumber portion is recommended. The lumber is surrounded by heavy gauge, non rusting, aluminum channels. Shutters arrive with unmarred lumber fascias because all wood glue and counter sunk wood placements take place in the rear of the panel for a clean and unmarred finish. The smooth interior surface panels provide an "edge free" surface so cribbing horses are less likely to chew!
