Each Dutch door is split horizontally, allowing the top half to swing open independently for ventilation and horse interaction while the bottom half stays securely closed to keep horses safely in their stalls.

Built from the same commercial-grade aluminum used across our entire product line, every Dutch door ships fully pre-assembled with all hardware included. Our Concealed Welding Technique ensures a clean, strong finish at every joint with no exposed welds, no weak points, and no sharp edges that could injure horses or handlers.

Dutch Doors are a great way to add a door to your barn, while still allowing sunlight and fresh air into the barn. With a Hinged Dutch Door, you can opt for a single or double panel door, depending on the type of style and functionality you are looking for in your barn. Our Dutch Doors are made out of the same materials and styles as our Sliding Stall Doors, Gossip Gates, and Barn Windows to create a cohesive look to your barn. Single Dutch Doors

 

Single Dutch Doors are also known as Half Dutch Doors, meaning that there is just one hinged single door panel that swings open in one direction. One may opt to purchase a Single Dutch Door to contain a horse in its stall and/or barn, while still allowing the animal to hang its head out of the top door opening.

 

Double Dutch Doors

 

Double Dutch Doors are just like Single Dutch Doors, except there are two individual hinged door panels installed, instead of one. Double Dutch Doors are split horizontally and each panel can be opened or closed independently. Both our Single Dutch Doors and Double Dutch Doors can be ordered in several standard sizes, along with custom sizing that is available upon request.

 

Dutch Door Styles

 

Armour Horse Stalls offers a selection of Dutch Door styles using only the highest quality materials in each and every one of our products. All of our Dutch Doors are designed with Armour’s unique non-rusting aluminum frame that will outlive traditional steel. Some of our Dutch Door styles include: Crossbuck, Smooth, Tongue and Groove, Coolbreeze, and Endura. Our Crossbuck Dutch Door is made out of high-quality lumber and includes the timeless “x” design on the front of each door panel. The smooth Dutch Door is just as the name sounds, with a smooth lumber surface that can be painted or customized at home to fit the style of your barn. Our Tongue and Groove Dutch Doors are built with 1″ x 6″ Southern Yellow Pine lumber and backed with smooth exterior plywood. Tongue and Groove Dutch Doors can be ordered in either vertical or horizontal placement. Armour’s Coolbreeze Dutch Doors are made out of our non-rusting aluminum 1″ round bar with a 1″ between bar spacing which increases the chances for ventilation. The Coolbreeze Half Dutch can also be ordered with a scuff panel. Scuff panel options are available in: Smooth, Tongue & Groove, Crossbuck. The Endura Dutch Doors are made out of a heavy-duty PVC material that does not warp or rot and can be ordered in any design on our website.
