It’s that time of year again…. Spring has sprung! Get your barn in tip top shape with new horse stall grilles! Armour manufactures stall grilles in any size, so send your measurements and we will ship them to you in 7-10 days, just in time for spring cleaning!

There are four features that can be added to any of Armour’s stall front grilles. One is the full height, swing-out, hinge less and latch less, Feeder Access Door. Created originally in 1981, this feature has been one of our most popular features because when the feed door is in a closed position its existence goes rarely detected by spectators or inhabitants. The chameleon affect the Feeder Access Door has makes this a great product for buyers who desire a nice clean front appearance without the continuity of the bar spacing in the stall front to be interrupted. The second grill feature option is a Lift-Out Panel which is the full height of the grill you order and opens to 24” wide. The Lift-Out is a completely removable panel for barn owners who desire to allow their horses to hang their heads in the aislway and feed through the same space. The Lift-Out can be replaced into the opening by aligning the upper area of panel into the affixed receiving channel at the top of the space. The third grill feature is a concealed EZ Lift Feeder Panel. When raised to open provides a clearance opening of 11” x 11” for a feed scoop or hand. The encased pickets telescope into the upper round pickets for easy access and when lowered to its down position seals the 11” x 11” opening. A simple feed cut out or hole is what we call a Feed Opening, our last grille feature, also creates an 11” x 11” size. The Feed Opening is a simple way to feed horses quickly without entering each stall or opening or lifting a feed door.

All four grill options are popular and functional features which are constructed into the grilles at the time of ordering, so it is great to consider these options prior to your spring cleaning or renovation order.
